Overview

The DSM manages a specific territory, customers in that territory and job specific bids for those customers. The DSM is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships as well as staying on top of the current market conditions with regard to competition and NMBS pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Building & maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • Prospecting to seek and find new customers.
  • Educate potential customers on benefits of long-span deck solutions
  • Communication & coordination with internal personnel
  • Input & maintenance of SalesForce system
  • Material takeoffs from construction drawings
  • Follow up & feedback on bid projects
  • Scheduled travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis
  • Attend various company meetings as required

Qualifications

  • Ability to read construction documents, specs, addendum, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task, negotiate & close deals
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, BlueBeam, ftp sites, etc.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Degree in Engineering or related technical experience preferred
